About the job
We are in search of a senior care provider with Alzheimer's experience for my 85-year-old father. He lives with his wife, who is a retired RN and takes excellent care of him. However, it is becoming too difficult for her to manage alone. He is a pleasant man who uses a rolling walker but needs assistance getting to the standing position. At this time, we need morning care in helping to get him up from his bed, toileting/diaper changes, grooming/bathing, feeding, exercising him (walk outside if the weather is good, otherwise indoor exercise), etc. Light housekeeping would be needed, and light cooking would be helpful.
