About the job
I'm a 63-year-old quadriplegic from a spinal cord injury. I live alone, and I can drive and shop for myself. Also, I live with my two dogs. I currently have a live-in caregiver, who has given me six-day notice. She wanted all the hour's herself, so I never had a backup. I'm an easy-going person, who is laid back. I need either a live-in, or 8-2pm, and then 5 to 9 p.m. or so. I need help with personal care. I use a Hoyer lift to do transfers. I have two small wounds that I need dressing changes done once a day. I shower on Mon, Wed, and Fri. I use a power wheelchair, and need help dressing. I need coverage for seven days a week. I'm good at giving directions. I have two small dogs, and my workers must like animals. Thursday 4/10 is when my worker is leaving.
