We need help getting our grandmother ready for bed. She is dressed recently, transitioned to the point of needing to be fed. She can handle finger foods, but can no longer manage a knife and fork. After dinner with the family, you would prepare for her for bed. Brushing teeth, going to the potty chair or toilet, changing her brief, and assisting getting her in the bed. She's borderline two person assist to safely transfer her from the wheelchair to the bed. It's all full assist to standing pivot alone, but someone else really needs to help do any hygiene while the other person helps her stand. So we have the family member that can be the second person. But everyone over here has an injury and has a hard time helping her stand. She lives with her grandson and his wife and four great grandchildren. Next door is her son and daughter-in-law.
