About the job
My parents came to live with us about a year ago. My husband and 2 teen age boys moved from New Jersey to Tampa so that we could all live together. Both my husband and I work from home, but my mom cannot be left alone at this point. While my dad is pretty self-sufficient my mom suffers from dementia. She uses a walker to get around but needs help getting up and a close hand to make sure she does not fall. I am looking for someone with a warm and caring demeanor who is able to provide her with a stable hand when she gets up and if needed re-assurances if she is nervous or scared. She does not like a lot of talking and loud noises makes her nervous. If you are a quiet, cheerful person, this could be a great fit.
