About who needs care: Very healthy, but has dementia. No longer drives or cooks. She has two cats and one puppy, but has problems remembering where and what to feed them. She sometimes unplugs the camera I have set up and has difficulty with the phone and tv remote. She is lonely and would like to have someone to talk with on a regular basis. I order her food online from Publix and have it delivered to her, but I can't buy anything that has to be heated. It would be nice for someone to help with microwaveable meals and heating up soup for her. I know she is doing smaller laundry (clothes) cleaning, but I'm not 100% sure about larger laundry like towels and bedding. About the care needs: The caregiver should have specific skills, knowledge and interest in working with a dementia patient. Someone who is a good listener, patient, and empathetic. Female preferred. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
