About who needs care: Mobile, dementia, sweet, friendly About the care needs: My mother is an introvert, although friendly, and doesn't realize that she needs care. She has a fairly advanced level of dementia that resets her entire memory about every 2 minutes, and has zero attention span. Cognitively, she behaves like a happy, sweet 4-6year-old (who thinks she can do things she can't do safely/independently anymore), but is physically mobile, healthy and even limber/fit for her age. She is not on meds or any walking aid device. Her home presents hazards that she doesn't recognize (resulting in several injuries in the past), and though she'd be safest in a memory care assisted living situation, I promised her that I'd keep her in her home that she's loved for 67 years, for as long as possible.
