About the job
In search of respite care for my father in New Smyrna Beach. He is a physically fit 82 yr old who was has dementia. Looking for someone to give us a few hours of relief during the week. One of your responsibilities will be helping with bathing and grooming and activities of daily life. We would prefer someone who can also handle light housekeeping duties. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion who could go on short walks and or rides - maybe take him out to lunch or shopping. He enjoys going out and meeting new people. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, has a good sense of humor, and comfortable with high energy pets (we have a Vizsla and Brittany Spaniel).
