About who needs care: Gene is a really simple guy he doesnt require much honestly, he begins his day with a very warm welcoming greet as you walk into his beautiful home, he will ask for you to put his weights on his feet for him so he can do his workout (He does this independently, only assistance is putting on/off). He may opt out of doing workouts some morning, shortly after he will ask to be assisted into his wheelchair, and go to the bathroom to freshen up, he does need assistance getting on and off the toilet, but he can take care of everything else himself (Using bathroom, brushing teeth, may ask staff to help wash his back once a week but he does the rest). After the bathroom Gene will roll into the kitchen to take medication and have lunch/dinner. Some days after dinner he will check his mail, go outside for a few minutes to get some fresh air, or simply just ask to go back to bed, and he would need help getting into bed. Pretty easy going great guy About the care needs: Gene is very outgoing, he loves to crack jokes here and there. He is kind-hearted and has a beautiful soul. He has stories to tell for days that are very enjoyable. Not much is required for Gene, he does ask for a caregiver that is strong and able to assist him during transfers.
