About who needs care: Advanced stage Corticobasal Degeneration. Home Bound for the most part. Transfers from bed to wheelchair to toilet throughout the day. About the care needs: Caregiver must be experienced in and able to safely transfer @175lb patient who has little to no strength. Must be timely and detail oriented to follow a strict schedule. Strong English communication (reading, writing and speaking) is a must. Role requires a balance of friendly interaction and providing quiet time as needed. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
