About the job
About who needs care: They were recently released from the rehabilitation center due to a possible TIA. He is 81 years old. He has in home physical therapy for the next 2 weeks. We have 2 home health aides, but he needs more care than the hours we are provided. He has a list of health conditions: diabetes type 2, hypertension, unspecified dementia, kidney issues, open heart surgery twice, mechanical valves, cardiac insufficiency, sleep apenea are just a few. I am looking for evening care since he lives alone and I live in another state. He likes to listen to music, but. mostly have someone to converse with. About the care needs: A caregiver who has a good sense of humor and Is easy-going. I need them to speak Spanish. No hobbies or specific interests. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
