Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Miami

About who needs care: My mom is a wonderful, sweet lady that has dementia and needs constant companionship so that she doesn't get confused or in trouble. She lives with my dad and brother, but my brother works and my dad has doctors appointments and other errands that he needs to attend to during the day. About the care needs: We need an English-speaking caregiver to keep my mom company and talk with her throughout the day. She likes to read the newspaper, drink coffee, and talk, but she often becomes confused and needs redirection and help with basic tasks so it is important that her caregiver can chat, eat with her, make sure she wears her adult diaper, etc. and make her feel comfortable. We specifically need a caregiver from March 24th through June 20th, 2025. The position may continue after those dates, but right now our current afternoon caregiver will be traveling 3/24/25-6/20/25 and we need someone who can work for those three months, 1pm-6 p.m. Monday through Friday. We will pay $25 an hour (and $18 an hour for the first week to train with our current caregiver who is super sweet and will help you with everything!) Services needed include: companionship.
