About who needs care: Son with a TBI, in a wheelchair but doesn't have a spinal cord injury, able to transfer with assistance. Non violent. Injured at age 19. Moving from Ohio to Florida and needs 24 hour care and assistance for all daily living skills, needs someone to cook, assist with feeding, household chores, plan, transport and accompany on outings and events. About the care needs: Calm, compassionate, social and dedicated. Physical strength to assist with transfers, and enjoys getting out and about to attend events and activities. Someone who understands the difference between a brain injury and being born with a mental disability. Family is very involved. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
