About who needs care: Tto maintain my independence I wish to outsource some of my care needs to a kind and capable helper who has common sense. Overall, I want the time I spend with my daughter to be leisurely rather than her laboring on my behalf to do things I need help with, such as reaching a remote I dropped down a crevice, or taking boxes out to recycle bin, or helping me in/out of my pool, or organizing my plant/gardening station so its more accessible for me, or taking me to/from medical appointments, etc. Must love my Goldendoodle. Immediately, I want to hire someone to transport me home from a medical building (includes coming into the doctors office after a colonoscopy, helping me to the car, driving me home, assisting me to my sofa). In the future, some additional tasks may include meal prep, errands. . About the care needs: Ideal candidate is someone who -Honors, respects and celebrates diverse humans, cultures, languages, people of different abilities, people of size, and lifestyles. -is well-traveled, or wants to be -loves dogs -is way more patient than me -is willing to learn about IIH, Papilledema, PCOS, and PTSD Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
