About the job
My sisters and I are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver for our father, who has advanced Parkinson's disease. The position involves providing companion care and basic living assistance, including occasional showers, feeding, light housekeeping, assisting with toileting, ensuring the battery charging of his devices, and offering companionship. The caregiver will be needed for 3 days a week: Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 PM, with the flexibility to choose the days that work best. There may also be occasional overnight stays and Saturday shifts. The care will be provided at home. We are looking for someone caring and dependable, and will provide training.
