About the job
Overnights three shifts per week 11 p.m. - 8 am, must have experience with type two diabetics, insulin dependent, mom has a continuous glucose monitor for checking her blood sugar frequently and easily. Please know how to use a bedpan if needed at night for a bowel movement. We use a Purewick catheter system, which is an external system, and will train on its use if needed. Mom might wake up two or three times in the night for comfort measures; must have good hearing when she calls for the caregiver. Possibility for flexibility of the week nights to be covered, as I am covering all others myself. Thank you, Tina.
