About who needs care: Grandma has been living in her home on her own. Two weeks ago she fell and broke her hip. She is currently in a rehab facility healing. They expect her to be there for two months. She is very independent, has zero desire to move into assisted living but cannot be on her own anymore. The night she fell she did not call anyone or use her life alert. She waited until the next morning because she did not want to bother my father at night. About the care needs: She has a pretty detailed regimen. She wakes up at 4:30 a.m. to use the bathroom, plays solitaire for an hour on her computer then goes back to sleep until 8:00. She likes to putter in her garden, every Friday at 9:00 a.m. she has a standing appointment with her hairdresser, drives herself there and goes home. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
