About who needs care: My mom is 70 years old and has been wheelchair-bound for about 3 or 4 years now. She is generally able to transfer on her own and can take care of most things around the house on her own. But it would be good for someone to be there with her during the day and help with anything that she might need help with, and to be there when she bathes as a safety measure. About the care needs: My mom would like a female caregiver who can carry on a conversation with her. They should be okay with cats because my mom has a Himalayan cat named Paddy that lives with her. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
