CAREGIVER, CNA OR EQUIVALENT experience preferred, to assist a mentally stable 89-year-old male with mobility and limb weakness and range of motion issues related to post-polio syndrome and medication side effects. HOYER LIFT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED as all transfers are single operator lift only. Requires toilet, shower, dressing assistance and prearranged meal prep. Exercise therapy, medication reminders, pressure sore prevention, placing leg lymphedema pumps and other typical CNA medical support plus regular agreed upon light housekeeping. Patient is friendly but not looking for companionship, so there will be mutual private time for his other activities. 76-year-old spouse is primary care aid. Monday and Friday availability required and up to 20 hours/week flexibly scheduled are anticipated once established.
