About the job

We are looking for a wonderful addition to our family to take care of our 91-year-old grandfather. His name is Fred and he is a super special soul. He doesn't get around that easily and requires full care consisting of morning wake up routine feeding breakfast bathing dressing, running errands Medicine, possible light, housekeeping, and cooking as you will need to prepare his meals and assistant to homeowner, my mother. The job can be anywhere between 30 and 40 hours and can also be flexible. The candidate will need to work around my mother's schedule as she runs errands and appointments of her own. The hours are somewhere between 8 and 5 p.m. but doesn't have to be a full day on certain days you can come and go. Daily routine. You would come in a 8 and check on Fred. Assesing his prior night sleep and situation. If he is sound you would then prepare his breakfast You then get him up morning ready to come to breakfast After breakfast, based on appointments he will either relax at home or head to appt. You will assist my mother. Your days must be flexible The hours will be between 8-5 but not necessarily required to stay those full hours. This will be based on my mother's schedule. He will requiring bathing every other day unless an accident has occurred. Watching TV, spending time with his family Getting outside CNA HHA Medical assisting Compassionate Super patient Thick skin which anyone experience would understand this term working with the elderly There will be time shared between two homes, one in Delray and Villa Borghese, and the other condo in East Fort Lauderdale on the intercoastal. Transportation is a must A beautiful white lab who is certified and trained as a service dog
