Job Title: Caregiver Company: Young at Heart Home Care Location: Broward County Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Pay: $19/hr Job Summary: Young at Heart Home Care is seeking a trustworthy and compassionate caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide professional care to our clients, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities: Implement clients' daily care plans. Provide professional and compassionate care. Assist clients with daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals. Provide companionship, including social interactions and emotional reassurance, and initiate activities that stimulate the mind. Perform or assist with essential shopping and errands. Transport or escort clients to medical and other appointments. Monitor and report changes in clients' health, behavior, and needs. Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.). Requirements: CNA, LPN, or RN license is required. Reliable transportation. High School Diploma. Genuine desire to help seniors. Level 2 Background Check. Social Security Card. Authorization to work in the US (if applicable). Valid driver's license and car insurance. Evidence of CPR certification. Professional and friendly attitude. Willingness to work flexible hours, which may include night shifts. Previous experience in caregiving or a related field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. -Ability to follow care plans and adapt to client needs. Reliable and trustworthy. Nursing school ok Volunteers for elderly facilities ok Results: Complete and document all assigned tasks for each client. Report any abnormal signs from clients. Report any instances of abuse. Attend all staff meetings. Provide care in a nurturing and respectful manner. Maintain current CPR and First Aid certification. Promptly report and document all incidents. Maintain good attendance. Ensure client safety.
