About who needs care: Dad has dementia, but is still lucid. He has mobility issues, walks with a walker and has fallen several times. He enjoys board games and would benefit from memory game puzzles. Mom is late 80s and primary caregiver. She needs to be able to leave the house for personal business and for a break. Sometimes the Dementia causes Dad to be awake much of the night, so Mom could also use help so she can sleep. About the care needs: It would be helpful to have someone who could help get Dad off the floor should he fall. Person should also be familiar with dementia. Ideally this person would be qualified to help with personal care when Dad requires it. Services needed include: companionship, and mobility assistance.
