About who needs care: Physically fit elderly woman who has dementia and needs a 24/7 companion. to keep her at home and safe. I pay a flat daily rate of $250 (as the caregiver can reliably sleep the eight hour night shift) and I am only looking for the weekend coverage from 9 a.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Monday. Coverage for other shifts and holidays also possible and appreciated. Please only apply if this meets your expectations as this is what I can do. About the care needs: Patient, kind, professional in handling up and down moods associated with Dementia. Calm, reliable and punctual for shift changes and generally good communication / rapport with other two caregivers. Services needed include: companionship and assistant with meds. Keeping a journal of ups and downs and significant events is also expected.
