About the job
We seeking care provider for weekly afternoon schedule for assiting care for wife's stroke recovery. Help with daily activities including stand and pivot from wheelchair, assist with going bathroom, assist with PT/OT activities for regaining strength, practicing language skills, plus provide companionship and encouragement. PT/OT/speech therapy students encouraged to apply. Be willing to help with some light chores. My wife enjoys walks around neighborhood, relaxing on patio, doing physical activities, listening to music, and conversation. Female providers preferred. Rate is $15. Our care concerns are: Mobility Assistance, Staying Physically Active, Bathing / Dressing, Feeding, Meal Preparation, Companionship. Some light tidying up daily. Assisting with feeding. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction.
