Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Clermont

About who needs care: Patient is 79 years old - had ischemic stroke on 8-6-24 that has left her bed bound, being fed through tube in stomach, unable to speak, right leg and arm deficient (currently not able to use either, but OT & PT are working with her to improve communication and mobility) and incontinent. My husband and I are looking for skilled service for approx. 4-6 hours a day to bathe & dress her in the morning & get her changed and ready for bed in the evening. Patient is bariatric (current weight is approx. 230 pounds) - we have medical equipment and supplies to help with lifting. About the care needs: Patient is easy going, kind and rarely complains. Prior to stroke, she loved watching game shows, reading, crossword puzzles, playing cards (hand and foot), etc. - things that tested her knowledge and/or required strategy. A good fit would be someone motivational, kind and patient - willing to engage with her and try playing games or activities that could improve her cognition - reading to her, etc. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
