Mom is 89 and a retired school teacher. She lives with my sister and is fairly independent. She has some cognitive decline but is kind and conversational. We are looking for someone to help on weekends so my sister can go out. We don't like leaving her for long stretches anymore. She has some difficulties moving around. We'd like someone to keep her company, help with food and possibly a short walk if she is willing. Ideally the applicant would be able to do occasional overnights maybe twice a month?
