About who needs care: My mother has end stage COPD and would need help with ADLs and companionship. She lives alone and has some anxiety in the mornings when alone. She enjoys puzzles and painting but conversing with people most of all. My mothers ideal day is to take the morning slow before her breathing improves in the afternoon then going out for lunch or an early dinner. She enjoys the movies or meeting with friends About the care needs: Somebody outgoing and willing to be a companion as well as a caregiver. This caregiver will need patience but can also help with light transfers to and from the bathroom/shower. Motivation and encouragement are a priority for my mother Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
