About the job
You will be the personal caregiver/companion for our mom who has Alzheimers. She is in her 60s and is a very fun-loving, kind woman. Has great stories to share. Loves to spend time with the dogs watching her TV show. The hope is to bring in an individual who can make her feel like you are her friend, as opposed to feeling like her caretaker (even though you are). She likes to go out for drives and get iced tea, grocery shopping, and shopping in general. She needs assistance with ADL's, errands, medical appointments, meal prep, caring for her dogs, and light house work. My dad is home working during the business week. Compassion, empathy, patience. We're looking for someone with experience in Memory Care and who can stay with us for some time. Yes Yes two small dogs
