About who needs care: Early Stage of Alzheimer's, needs assistance in bathroom and with meals. About the care needs: We are seeking a caregiver who has a genuine desire to care for our parents; someone who has empathy, sense of humor, patience, strong communication skills, and experience in caring for a person with early onset Alzheimer's/dementia and also must be able to provide physical tasks like lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility. The caregiver must be dependable and be able to manage schedules, track medications, and ensure that our parents needs and safety are met consistently. Some light house keeping and meal preparation are required too. This position is mostly during the night when they are sleeping but the caregiver will need to be alert and ready to assist with bathroom needs, help with repositioning and other tasks that they may require. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
