Active Creative Caregiving!

ISO high energy, chatty, creative, patient, thoughtful, engaging, and adventurous companion care for my dad. Someone who loves to spend time in nature, hiking, checking out events, playing, art, cooking, music, etc He has Alzheimer's + I moved him from the Shen Valley to DC. Dad is super active and fit physically, but has difficulties with cognitive processing (and he is on the decline--as the disease goes). Must be *patient*, encouraging, inclusive and enthusiastic and talkative (this is a must--he might not track everything, but it's important that there is a lot of verbal engagement or attempts at engagement!). Loves animals and children. Struggles with complex directions. Has a VERY hard time sitting idle alone (or feeling alone, if you're on the phone the whole time). I want to make sure his days are FUN.
