About the job
Looking for a support professional to work with a very independent 45-year-old man with an intellectual disability. Between 8-22 hours are available and there is some flexibility in hours (with most hours occurring in the late afternoon/evenings or weekends). The position requires assisting the individual to complete daily living activities such as organizational tasks, scheduling appointments, banking/budgeting, assisting with cleaning, and making sure he does chores and checks chore chart. Individual also needs assistance with encouraging to exercise, preparing healthy meals, and attending social events. A reliable car is required. Looking for someone who is able to communicate regularly via phone, text, and email.
