Hands-on Care Needed For My Loved One In Vernon Rockville

About who needs care: My father in law is a 90 yr widower. Lives alone in a 4 bedroom colonial. He has AML (lukemia) and is requiring transfusions about once every week and a half / two weeks. He is mobile but starting to shuffle, trip and has had one fall. His memory is fair to poor. He requires help with meals, reminders to take medication, bathing / dressing errands, appointments. He enjoys reading (or used to), Hallmark movies, family, anything related to railroad (his former business). About the care needs: Someone very social, patient, kind, experience dealing with patient's with memory / initiation / follow through issues. He would do well with simple puzzles, simple word finding puzzles / games, checkers, anything to keep him problem solving. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
