About who needs care: My mother is currently in bed most of the day after a recent fall fracturing 6 ribs. She has also been diagnosed with liver cancer. She went from being very independent to totally dependent. She is moved via lift into a when chair for post of the day. Once at home she will be visited by PT and OT with the goal of my eventually being able to stand and walk with assistance. I'm teens of hobbies he loves to read but her eyesight has degraded as a result of the fall. We will need help with daily bathing, assistance and feeding. About the care needs: The caregiver should be empathetic, patient, gentle and have a sense of humor. They should know how to potentially have to change a wound dressing once a day as well. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
