About who needs care: Both my parents are in need of home health care. They are prone to falls, and need personal care assistance. My mother, 82, is in better shape than my father, 88. She still wants to cook for him and do what she can to care for him on her own, but she can't do all of the care alone anymore, as they've both had bad falls recently that put them both in the hospital. My mother can be handful/ stubborn, and generally doesn't want strangers in her space. My mom wants a Hispanic woman to come care for them, someone who speaks Spanish and is very friendly and patient. They will mostly watch TV all day and my mom will want to cook for my dad, but besides that they aren't very active. A physical therapist will be sent to them a few times a week to try and get them stronger. They have high blood pressure, some signs of incontinence, my mom has diabetes and is recovering from a kidney stone and my dad is very weak and has an abdominal aorta aneurysm About the care needs: Spanish-speaking Hispanic woman who is patient, conversational, friendly, kind, and strong enough to help my father walk to the kitchen/ bathroom Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
