We are seeking a trustworthy caregiver who will care for our clients with professionalism and compassion wherever the clients call home. The caregiver will be responsible for implementing our clients' daily care plan in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with agency policies and industry standards. Your Responsibilities Provide companionship including social interactions, and emotional reassurance, and initiate activities that stimulate the mind. Perform/assist with essential shopping/errands Transporting or escorting the client to medical and other appointments. Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs. Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.) Assist clients with personal care and hygiene Implementing the care plan as instructed Complete and maintain records of daily activities, observations, and direct hours of service. Per Diem Caregiver (As Needed) Hartford, Middlesex, and Tolland County Secure Hands Solutions is seeking a compassionate and patient live-in caregiver to join our team in West Hartford. The caregiver will be responsible for implementing our clients' daily care plan caring and respectfully, following agency policies and industry standards. Desired Qualifications: CNA license is a plus but not necessary Valid Driver's license Have reliable transportation Previous experience in caregiving Caring dependable Knowledge of client care Knowledge of home management skills Have a High School Diploma Compassionate and Genuine Desire to help seniors A professional and friendly attitude A willingness to work flexible hours, which may include night shifts
