About who needs care: He is a fun, jovial, retired architect that now has liver damage and needs to be diligent about taking his medicine every day. He has some difficulty with stairs, as he had knee surgery that went awry. He has difficulty keeping up with his household chores, and remembering appointments. Even going through his mail is taxing to him. About the care needs: Someone who likes to joke, is disciplined but kind and easy-going. It would be great if they had some medical background /or knowledge. Someone with life experience and not too young so they can relate to a 60+ year old. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
