About the job
We are looking for a compassionate caregiver to help provide my mom companionship during the day. She is suffering from Alzheimer's and may require help with dressing on some days and does require prompting to take her medications. In addition, we would ask that you help with her laundry, keeping her room straightened and meal preparation. We might ask you to run errands now and then as a way to get her out of the house (and to walk her outside weather permitting). Preferences for a caregiver who has experience with dementia. We also have a dog so would need someone who is okay with dogs. We can be flexible with the days if you desire a more part-time position (although Saturday is a need).
