I am looking for a long term, reliable, compassionate, TALKATIVE person with a lot of patience to care for a senior with dementia The time is 11:00-2:00 p.m. on Thursdays. Duties include administering medication, making a salad, cutting up fruit for snacks, light housework to make sure kitchen, dining area and bathroom are clean. Prompting her to wash her hands, brush her teeth and most importantly keep her company by TALKING with her about your day or what is happening on the tv. She likes watching news on MSNBC to keep up with what is happening in the world. She has dementia so every other day she is either friendly or grumpy. So, you will need a lot of patience as it's not her. It's the disease. We live in northwest Colorado Springs.
