Hands-on Care Needed For Myself

My name is K and I am 26 years old! I have Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 2. I am a very outgoing and adventurous. I love cooking, shopping, listening to music and going to concerts, trying | out fun makeup looks, binge watching my favorite movies and shows, and going on adventures. I have the sweetest little dog and cat so I also spend a lot of time with them! I recently graduated with my Bachelors degree in Psychology and I am currently working. The Position: I currently live with my family members but I am looking to move out in the near future. I utilize a team of caregivers 24 hours a day to help me live as independently as possible. There are times when day shifts are somewhat laid back, but I do like to make the most out of the day so some days are busier than others, and will be much different when I am working. Overnight shifts are usually fairly laid back but it just depends on the night. Day shift will involve personal care and getting ready for the day, meal preparation, accompanying me throughout the day (to doctors' appointments, to my job, or out in the community), caring for my pets, and household cleaning. Overnight shift will involve personal care and getting ready for bed, possible meal preparation, medical equipment cleaning/upkeep, caring for my pets, and repositioning me during the night. I use a Hoyer lift to transfer but you will need to be able to lift me into a sitting position or lift me in case of an emergency. I use a power wheelchair and ventilator all day so you will need to be comfortable with using them as directed. I need total assistance for all activities of daily living, but I am able to direct my own care. Requirements: All employees must be able to pass a background check. You must have a valid drivers license and car insurance. Must be legally authorized to work. Must be a nonsmoker. No experience is necessary. Full training will be provided. Minimum age to apply is 21. And preferably have an extroverted personality! The ideal candidate for this position would be someone who is passionate about caring for others, reliable, hard-working, outgoing, adventurous, and willing to learn. I do not require anyone to have experience or any specialized skills as long as they are open to learning about me and my care needs! Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
