About who needs care: 96-year-old who needs daily help with DLA's, hygiene and transportation to appointments. He is a fall risk But it's still ambulatory and coherent. There are no major underlying medical conditions, But has some age related conditions that are managed through medication. He is a musician and writer and spends most of his time writing. He's also very active with the church and attends multiple days per week. An ideally structured day for him would be to cook him breakfast, make sure he takes his pills, make sure he is clean, help him with his computer if necessary, give him a ride to an appointment in he has one, clean his living area, wash laundry if necessary, make lunch, give him a shower, make dinner and clean up, and assist him to bed. About the care needs: The ideal caretaker should be patient, caring, able to assist with basic computer and phone navigation, able to cook, clean, and lift an elderly man if he falls. Specific hobbies are interest or not necessary, but they should be comfortable with religion. Additionally, they should have a vehicle that they are able to drive him to appointments with. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
