About who needs care: Caregiver/Companion needed for 64-year-old. Stroke survivor with limited speech, very weak on right side, (right arm and leg limited use) but full use of left arm/leg. She uses a hemi walker; is very self reliant. Job Description 25 hours a week - Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Family is willing to be flexible with applicants availability. Breakfast and Lunch preparation . Transport to speech therapy on Monday. Light housekeeping. Patient is an extravert and loves the companionship a caregiver can give her. Outings to store (Target, etc) About the care needs: Someone that is friendly and likes to talk to the patient. They will need to stand firm at times. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, dressing, and mobility assistance.
