My 97-year-old father is in hospice and has dementia and is recently wheelchair-bound, although he can help with transfers. My mom is 91 and active, but her severe arthritis means we need someone who can do meal prep/cooking and assist with laundry, etc. We have a live-in caregiver and are in need of someone to cover for her while she is on vacation. Medication management is required. Some light tidying up is involved. Assistance with bathing if needed is one of our requirements; dad does require changing. Seeking someone to handle meal preparation. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained, sense of humor, good communication skills, and must be experienced/provide credentials. Note we are also looking for a permanent caregiver for her normal days off, which are 9 a.m. Sat to 4 p.m. Sun.
