About the job
I'm looking for home care for gentleman in his 70's who has Multiple Sclerosis (MS). He DOES NOT have Alzheimer's or Dementia. Responsibilities will be to help with: personal care, bathing, feeding, (some meal prep), mobility, providing companionship, and social interaction. A mandatory task is ability to use or train with using a Hoyer lift for transfer from bed to wheelchair. Also, requires willingness to empty and change retrieving bag for a Foley Catheter. Preference is for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and personally enjoys movies/tv shows and comics. Weekend Daytime work to start, but may grow to add more hours.
