About who needs care: Brenda is mobile with her walker. But, has arthritis in her kneees, so cant walk to much at a time. She loves her meals. Spends all her time on the couch in a laying down position. Calming background music to soothe her.. Does not have any will power of her own to do anything for herself., tends to have negative selftalk. She will need assurance that everything is fine. Tends to worry about pleasing others. She has been home living with her 91-year-old husband for 11/2 years now.. About the care needs: I need a caregiver who is peaceful and patient within themselves. She will need to care of Husband and Wife, Your program did not allow for two people in the questionare. Someone who has self motivation and can create a positive environment. Someone who can make a house feel like a home. Brenda needs to feel safe and secure in her presence. Must have emotional leadership abilities. No personal drama of her own discussed. Who needs a home for herself as much as a job. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
