About who needs care: My mom has MS and is wheelchair bound. Her mind is operating fine and she can move herself from the wheelchair to the toilet or bed with assistance. When you come we hope you can help her shower, moisturize and leg wrap, medication reminder, light house work and meal prep. As time allows, other activities like doctor appointment, physical therapy, and shopping as needed. This will also help to relieve my dad who is in his 80s. About the care needs: A good fit would be someone who is independent, and can identify needs and take action. My parents try to do everything by themselves, but my dad cannot continue caring for my mom the way he would want. They are both very kind and loving people.
