About who needs care: My mom has dementia and is able to walk around the house but needs help going to bathroom, bathing, and sometime eating. My dad is the main caregiver right now and he has reached the end of his ability to provide quality care because he is starting to get sick from the stress. My mom likes plants, reading, and talking about the past. The ideal day revolves around three meals and shower, and using the restroom, and the in between time occupied with looking at plants and small talk. About the care needs: A very patient person is required with firm ability to deal with a person with dementia. They also need to be comfortable helping an elderly woman use the bathroom and helping her bath. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
