About the job
I'm assisting a friend who needs part-time caregiving from April 13 to April 18, for 8 hours a day (flexible hours). The patient has a history of stroke and lives with her husband. We're looking for a caregiver who is able to lift up to 150 lbs to help with transfers from bed to wheelchair and from bed to the shower chair (showers are every other day). Some assistance with feeding is also required. Medication is given daily, but the husband can handle that if needed. This is a short-term, 6-day opportunity. Please reach out if you're interested. Assist with morning routine: help transfer from bed to wheelchair, bathroom needs, and light grooming. If it's a shower day, assist with transfer to shower chair and bathing.
