About the job
About who needs care: Starting to have memory problems. Has been having friends drive her to doctor's appts. Needs a consistent caregiver to manage her meds and drive her to appointments in Reno and Carson City so there is continuity of care. She is going to stop driving locally and will need to be taken to Safeway and the library etc. Ideally a few (2-4?) hours a day 5 days a week, days and hours are flexible. About the care needs: Detail-oriented is a plus. Able to communicate with us about doctor visits and help my mom continue to live in her home as long as possible. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
