About the job
Looking for a companion/caregiver for my dad. He is in a wheelchair and 79. He has limited function in his left arm and needs support transitioning from his wheelchair to anywhere else he's trying to go. Meal prep would be helpful when I don't have time to cook. I'm his daughter and he will be moving in with me this week! I have 2 kiddos (1. 5 and 12) so I'm just looking for an extra pair of helping, kind and compassionate hands. A little about my dad.... His jokes are dated but he is a sweetheart and really likes to make people smile. He spent nearly 50 years in the navy and working for the navy until his stroke. He's had 10 kids (yep, I'm one of them!) And really would do anything for them all. I just want him to live out his life with love and dignity surrounded by loving family and community.
