Share Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. - (7. 5 to 15 hours a week if working both days) Some added backup weekday work may be open. My wife has vascular dementia. The caregiver will coordinate with four other caregivers. You MUST SPEAK CLEARLY and know how to deflect/redirect her requests. We have a 15-pound service dog. RESPONSIBILITIES: Meals, shower, grooming & bathroom assistance. Walk about 2 hours daily - outdoor walker / rollator-light housekeeping and shopping. ACTIVITIES Wife wakes up at 8:30 AM, has breakfast, and walks one hour in AM and one hour in the PM.
