Share Saturday and Sunday 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. or work both days - (7. 5 or 15 hours a week) Some added backup weekday work. My wife has vascular dementia. The caregiver will coordinate with four other caregivers. You MUST SPEAK CLEARLY and know how to deflect/redirect her requests. We have a 15-pound service dog. RESPONSIBILITIES: Meals, shower, grooming & bathroom assistance. Walk about 2 hours daily - outdoor walker / rollator-light housekeeping and shopping. ACTIVITIES Wife wakes up at 8:30 AM, has breakfast, and walks for one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon.
